Mersalk links three apps. Shoppers search products from a network of stores across Sudan, stores receive and prepare the order, and couriers deliver it. Customers pay by Visa, Mastercard or cash.
Mersalk is built and run by MIT's software team.
For shoppers
Search products across a network of local stores, order in a few taps, pay by card or cash, and follow your order to the door.
For stores and restaurants
Run your store on Mersalk: manage products and categories, open or close for orders, and see each order through to delivery.
For couriers
Register with your vehicle and city, take delivery jobs, and keep track of your orders, rating and wallet balance in one place.
Find nearby stores and restaurants and search their products.
Add to cart, check the invoice, and pay by Visa, Mastercard or cash.
Follow your order on the map as the courier heads to you.
The courier hands over your order at your location.
3D animation. The Mersalk logo appears in a living room, a hand opens the Mersalk app on a phone next to the Google Play and App Store badges, a shopping list fills in, the order is followed on a city map, a receipt confirms it, and a stopwatch over the city signals fast delivery. It ends on the Mersalk logo.
Illustrated explainer. A person looks stressed at a laptop, then the Mersalk route mark carries a grocery bag to a map of Sudan with the line “أسرع وقت، أقل سعر” (fastest time, lowest price). A phone opens like a fridge full of groceries, a courier appears, and it ends on two phones showing the shopper and courier apps with the Google Play and App Store badges.
Flat illustration on yellow. A man holds up his phone beside the words Mersalk Delivery Services. “ادفع بسهولة” (pay easily) shows a card payment between a customer and a courier, “توصيل إلى باب البيت” (delivery to your door) follows an order from phone to store to scooter to home, and it closes with “حمّل تطبيق مرسالك الآن” (download the Mersalk app now).
Brand film. The Mersalk logo forms over a field of blue light, letters animate across bright colour fields, the line “أكثر مما تتوقع” (more than you expect) appears on a watercolour background, followed by the Google Play and App Store badges and a car driving along the Mersalk route mark.
